Application:
1.Immerse the hydrometer gradually and perpendicularly into the water.
2.until the collected sample up to the indication mark,take out and let the gadget stand on level surface and take   the reading.
3.the inner graduations indicate Special Gravity of the sample while the outer graduations show the salinity level (ppt)in the water.The gadget is designed for checking of seawater having reading ranging from 1.020 to 1.023.
4.As shown in diagram,after completion of test,discard sample water through the mouth and not through the inlet opening.

Please take note:
1.Best for accurate checking water with its temperature ranging from 20 to 30 degree Celsius.
2.After usage,rinse the hydrometer with clean water,any remaining salt crystals on the hydrometer pointer will pose problem during testing.Therefore it needs to be cleaned by immersing in weak acid for half an hour.Forrow by rinsing with clean water,later put to storage after drip dry.
3.During testing,air bubbles that adhered to the pointer of the hydrometer could also cause inaccuracy.This can overcome by tapping the gadget lightly to release the air bubbles.
